Member Conduct

Atlanta DSA aims to be welcoming and inclusive to our members and others who share DSA’s core values of liberty, equality, solidarity, as well as our commitment to restructuring gender and cultural relationships to be more equitable and not oppressive within the context of building a diverse working class movement. As such, we are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

Atlanta DSA has a grievance process where individuals can report misconduct by members, such as bullying or harassment. Grievances are confidential, and retaliation is prohibited. Our chapter has Harassment-Grievance Officers (HGOs) who investigate grievances, provide members with due process to respond to reports, and correspond with involved parties about resolving grievances. Parties who are dissatisfied with grievance outcomes may also appeal the decisions.

To contact our Harassment-Grievance Officers about any grievance matters, please email conduct (at) atldsa.org
