DSA believes working people should run the economy and society democratically to meet human needs, not to make profits for a few. We’re organizing our communities and fighting to win socialism in our time.
DSA is a volunteer group with many different programs. We promote our political platform with outreach and canvassing in neighborhoods across the metro area. To support the labor movement, we assist unionization efforts with public awareness campaigns, solidarity actions, and direct organizing. We campaign to win reforms that build working-class power with pressure campaigns targeting government officials. We also promote working-class consciousness with our reading groups and regular educational events.
We strongly encourage you to sign up for a DSA membership, but our activities are open to everyone.
