Healthcare, education and good jobs are human rights. Under capitalism, the bosses, landlords, and politicians hoard wealth, leaving the rest of us with barely enough to survive. Democratic Socialism means working people should be in charge of society! We are fighting to win a world organized and governed by and for the workers.
What We Do
- Grassroots Organizing: Members mobilize around pressing local and national issues, like affordable housing, workers’ rights, healthcare for all, and advancing racial equity.
- Campaigns and Activism: Regular campaigns include support for socialist candidates, union solidarity, tenants’ rights efforts, mutual aid projects, and direct action for social justice.
- Political Education: We offer educational workshops to foster understanding of democratic socialism.
How to Get Involved
Getting involved is as simple as showing up to a meeting, reaching out to dsanwga@gmail.com, or joining DSA today to connect with others who are making socialist change in Cobb, Bartow, Paulding, and Cherokee counties.
